What gear do you use?

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV camera body and a variety of Canon lenses (my favorites are 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm!). For most of the day I shoot with a Zhiyun Crane gimbal so I can move with you as you live your day, but I also have monopods and a tripod in my kit if I need them. For audio, I use a Rode Video Mic Pro and have two Rode mic backups in my kit always.

How long will my video be?

Video length usually depends on how many shooting hours I'm booked for, and the type of video I'm shooting. For wedding films, a 6-hour shoot will result in a 3-4 minute video, and a 10-hour shoot will result in a 4-6 minute film. For more detailed information, check out the film and photography sections of my site!

A package won't work for me. Do you have an hourly rate?

I do! My hourly rate is $150 an hour for up to 6 hours, after which package prices apply.

How do I book and pay?

You can book with me through email via my contact page! To secure your booking, I require a signed contract and a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days from your wedding date. All deposits are final and non-refundable, and because of volume I sadly cannot hold a date without a deposit--sorry!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I do! I know there are a lot of expenses involved in your wedding day, so if you need to break up the payments just let me know and we'll figure out a timeline that works for you!

Do you travel?

I do, and I absolutely love to do so! Pricing for destination weddings is a little different because I have to factor in travel costs. Get in touch with me on the contact page to get an exact price quote! I'd love to travel more in 2020!

Do you take last minute wedding bookings?

As long as I'm not already booked, yes! Get in touch with me on the contact page and I'll let you know if I can be there!

How would you describe your style?

I take a very documentary-esque approach to my wedding films and photography. I don't do a lot of posing, and I don't use a lot of dramatic slow-motion or fancy effects in my videos. My goal is to shoot like a fly on the wall and capture your day exactly as it happened, with all the laughter and joy and love that it entails. I want to create a film that makes you feel the same way watching it as you did living it!

Can I choose the music for my video?

That's a tricky question. To avoid copyright issues, I have to use music that's specifically licensed for your film, otherwise it can be slapped with a copyright violation and would be impossible to share anywhere. I always source and license my music from Soundstripe which is included in your film package. That said, if you have a song in mind that you're dying to use, just let me know and I will look into the costs of getting it licensed for you! Any additional costs of music licensing will be added onto the final cost of your film package.

Can I share my video/photos online?

Absolutely! Share them anywhere and everywhere! My contracts include a distribution license so that you can share and print your media anywhere you like so long as it's for a non-commercial purpose. I retain the right to share your film on my portfolio or social media for promotional purposes, but if you have any concerns about privacy don't hesitate to reach out!

When will I get my video?

Films are typically finished within 4-8 weeks from your wedding date. Films are sent to you digitally.
